This damn watch
Because my watch band was unexplicable severed, I had to buy a new band. It came today, and as is usually the case when one receives a watch band, I was pretty excited. Little did I realize that this particular band had been born in the arctic chill of the deepest level of hell.
I began by removing the old bands. Easy enough. Then began the 2-hour process of trying to get those pins to pop into their holes. Oh man. OH. MAN. Somehow, I actually started to sweat during this process involving very little muscle movement. I eventually started to cut the bands to try to get them to fit better, but it didn't do anything.
Then all of the sudden, without explanation or understanding on my part, one of them went in.
At this point I didn't know what to do. All that toil; all that struggle. The moment was such that I had to stop and sit back and just contemplate my life. Where was I going? Where had I been? Who was I? I sat like this for a few minutes, then popped the other pin in with ease.
It's time for me to clock out.
