The Summer
Someone anonymously commented that it was time for an update. They were right.
Summer is in full swing. I'm working at Harris Alternatives on the top floor (60th) of the 4th tallest building in Chicago (Sears, Hancock, Aon, AT&T <-me) and enjoying it as much as one can enjoy the supreme bitch position of intern. I commute in every day on a 7:24 train and get back to the station that night at about 5:52. So the hours are pretty good.
The week prior to work I bummed around at home. Also Lesley and her bestest friend Sarah visited for about four days, which was absolutely great. They saw a lot of the city and the suburbs, but it was short lived. That's ok, because I plan on getting out to NJ soon, ideally in two weeks.
The trip home from London was uneventful, but I stayed up the entire night prior because I was in the emergency room with Lesley, who had a near-fainting spell that lasted a few hours. In the end she was fine and we wheelchaired her back in plenty of time to get our stuff together and get on the bus to Heathrow.
Nothing else is new. I recommend the game Advance Wars for Gameboy. I'll probably be in Charlie's movie this summer. Check out charliecoutrakon.com
